I have includes files and lib files but i can't compil

1. wu.ftpd goes into la-la land
Have upgraded to a later version of the kernel 2.1.23 and ftpd
doesn't work correctly anymore. in fact, when a user FTPs into the
system, after he enters his name, the syslog fills with:
ftpd[xxxx] sleeping: flock of pid file failed: invalid argument
