Tried using the Mach64 drivers in the latest XFree86 but all I get is a

Sorry, "latest XFree86" does not cut it.  Which revision did you try?

Remove the "NOSPAM" from my address to reply.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Yeah,

I'm running a Video Xpresion+ pc2tv card w/4mb sgram with linux slackware 3.2.
I downloaded the newest beta version of Xfree so that it will work right with
my card.  You can also just download a patch, but I got the whole thing.
Works fine.  Before I did that, I would get weird things happening (vertical,
wavy lines on the screen that would periodically be there then not be there.

new driver that only the patch or the new beta version gives you.  Download
it.  Your problems will probably go away.  good luck.

Have you tried [<ctl><alt><backspace>] to kill it? Should work. I just
installed a 3D Xpression+, running XFree86 3.2, and have X-windows
running fine. It took some trial-and-error. Use the Xconfigurator
utility first to generate an XF86Config file, before using XF86Setup.
