How to lpr print in landscape mode?

Post by Bruce Walla » Sun, 31 Dec 1899 09:00:00

I have configured a postscript printer
being served from Win95 via SMB.  I can
print to it just fine, except I can't
seem to find out how to specify "landscape"
instead of "portrait" mode when using lpr.

Is there a way to specify this via a cmd
line arg to lpr?  How about via the config
in printtool?

thanks and reply to

How to lpr print in landscape mode?

The LinePrinter program simply sends postscript to the printer (or a
filter), and it's the application's job to decide how to put the data.
Landscape and portrait are just conceptual views. I may be wrong, but I
don't believe you can customize that with lpr itself.
