It's part of the XFree86-libs package. I believe that it can only beQuote:> when I try to run a precompiled program called DX, it canoot locate the

Hi!
I got a weird error when I try to start XFree86 4.0.1 on my RH6.0 (kernel
2.2.5-22) via startx: xinit complains that it can not load libXmu.so.6
shared library (not found).
However, I DO have the library in /usr/X11/lib/ and all the simlinks (the
path is also included in /etc/ld.so.conf)!
I got this error after a system chrash while trying to install the NVidia
drivers 0.9-769 from the SRC RPM and following the given instructions.
The chrash may have happened because of the AGP support (option compiled
in the kernel) but why X can not found an existing shared library?
Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!
Istvan
