I've got the yggdrasil fall 1994 edition of linux and i'm having
difficulties installing it on my new computer.  i've got a touch p133
with a 1.6 gig hd and it's fat16.  i can fip it to make a partition but
when i copy the "disk image" onto the disk and reboot, it keeps saying
"Kernel Panic - Unable to mount root fs at xx:xx"  the last number
changes.  i've tried nearly all the switches that it gives (at least all
the ones that make sense.)

i've got a mitsumi 8x CD and i was wondering what the kernel parameter
would be to use that as a root.

Something from 1994 is a *VERY* old version of Linux.  Just FYI...
