The avance AL100 is SB Pro compatible. Just compile the Kernel with SB
Pro support and you'll have no trouble. But if its PnP you'll have to
boot DOS on powerup, so that the DOS Avance driver can initialise the
card.
Top kernel compile tip for beginners: use make xconfig.
Note "powerup", a reset isn't enough (methinks).

1. Sound problem with Avance Logic Sound 007
Hi all
I'm a newbie to Linux, I installed Mandrake 7.1, kernel 2.2.15, my sound
card is Avance Logic Sound 007.
Sounddrake works well under text mode, but under X-Window, the program
fails to play the sample sound with the same port, irq, dma...
I tried sndconfig, the problem is the same.
Could anyone help me.
