HELP: Sound Blaster 16 & Kernel compile

Post by Nayan Hajratwa » Mon, 22 May 1995 04:00:00

Hi there!

I'm having some problems getting the kernel to compile with the
Soundblaster option turned on.

When I choose 'y' for Soundblaster support, it goes into the
Soundconfigure script.  Fine so far.  I enter all the IRQ's and DMA's etc
for my SB16, and then it starts asking about other Soundcards..
proaudiospectrum and others I can't remember.  The script crashes during
this phase due to some conflicts...

Any idea what I should do here?

Thanks!

there is an option us front in the configuration to chose 'limited support'
or something like that.  then it will work for you.

good luck,
