: svgalib: Configuration file /etc/vga/libvga.config not found.

: svgalib: Configuration file /etc/vga/libvga.config not found.

it's the svgalib configuration - most svga based linux programs use a
standard library and configuration for the svga stuff.  cthugha included.
This file simply describes your vidcard and monitor...  cthugha will work
without it, but you can get more out of a good machine if it's configured
properly (ie. high resolution stuff, etc)...

1. Advice needed for /etc/vga/libvga.conf -- Please help

What docs should I read that will help figure out how to
setup my /etc/vga/libvga.conf file? I have a Mystique 220
and see that there aren't selections for the Mystique chipset
or ramdac.
  superProbe gives me this information on my card;

  First video: Super-VGA
        Chipset: Oak OTI-087 (Port Probed)
        Memory:  256 Kbytes
        RAMDAC:  Generic 8-bit pseudo-color DAC
(with 6-bit wide lookup tables (or in 6-bit mode))

Why does it think I have an Oak? I have a Mystique 220 with 4 megs.
  What's up

Please help me out with this one guys (and girls). I'd love to get
it set up right. Quake (squake really) looks so much better in hi-res.

PLease note that my return address is faked.
