There is Linux support for using two modems as a single
networking connection, but unfortunately support for this
feature has to be present on the other end.
You can still have multiple modems (or any combination
of network connections) but each tcp connection to a
remote site will use only one of your IP addresses, and
subsequently only one of the "pipes".
