hda2 *should* be the extended partition created by windows...under
DOS/windows way of doing things, nothing actually is in the extended
partition...it is simply a place for "logical" partitions to go
(hda5-->) The 0xf has got me, usually linux's fdisk will detect it as a
"5" extended...
Forgive the crudity but this is sort of how it is...
*---------------*-------------------------------------------------------*
Primary Extended
*------------*----------------------------*-------------*
Logical 1 Logical 2 Logical 3
I hope that makes sense ;)

Could do, what kernel are you trying to install? The LS-120 will report
a capacity of 132Mb to the OS...note that there has to be a disk in it
for anything to work...were you planning on leaving a superdisk in the
LS-120 and installing a portion of your linux on that? You'll need
kernel 2.0.34--> to get proper recognition of your LS-120...you can't
boot from it (yet) from Linux even if your BIOS says you can.
