To disable the virtual screen (i.e. the pages move when you touch the border
with your mouse) set it's size to the real screen size (Virtual in
Subsection Display in XF86Config, see ``man XF86Config'' for further info).

To disable virtual desktop tell your window manager to use a 1x1 virtual
desktop, but it might be better to set other paramters differently (e.g.
edge resistance, ...)

1. Desktop Menubar doesn't go away

I enabled the desktop menubar feature, so none of my KDE applications
displays
a menubar anymore. Instead, a single menubar is displayed at the top of
my desktop. I try to disable it, but it just pops up again. How can I
force it to dissappear?

(I'm running KDE 2.1 installed from rpm on a redhat 7.0 system)

Thanks in advance.
