Do you have fat/vfat support available in the kernel or as a
module?  If not, you need to rebuild the kernel and/or
modules with this support.

Are you sure that your Windows 98 partition is FAT16, and not FAT32?

Do you have FAT32 support compiled into your kernel? (you need 2.0.35 or
better to use FAT32).

I'm using Rh 5.2; put  vfat in /etc/fstab;
works fine.

Sorry to start with obvious but did you
compile support for vfat into the kernel
?

What version of RH do you have?  FS type 'vfat' may not be built into
the kernel.

1. Red Hat 7.1 - Installing Red Hat packages after Red Hat is already installed.

How can I install packages that I forgot to install with the Red Hat
7.1 installation?

Here's my problem:
Various pieces of Red Hat keep saying that I am missing a file and
that it needs to be installed with a certain package (namely most of
the Kontrol Panel).  But I have been unsuccessful at finding where
this is done.  I am still a newbie with Linux, but I would assume that
there should be an "Add/Remove Programs" equivalent with Linux.

Please help!
