Hi, just installed ncurses-1.9.8a and get the message:
"This ansi terminal does not support color" when running option c
(color test pattern) in the program ncurses.

1. ncurses 1.9.1c ignores default background color?

Hi,

I compiled ncurses (in ELF) and ran the test programs. One problem
that appears, most notably in the program rain, is that when the
characters are written to the screen, from that character on to the
end of the line, the background color is switched to black from the
blue that I had set with the setterm program (using the -store switch
as well). Then I compiled ncftp 2.0.5 and the same problem happens
with the command line (the last line in visual mode).

Does anybody know a way around this?
