I'm tempted to say "use a search engine" . This is a real FAQ.
You can't share IRQs properly on the standard ISA bus without
using specific hardware stop Instead you do have to make sure that
every device gets an IRQ of its own stop Put your modem (presently
setup per default to be using IRQ 4 , just like /dev/cua0) on an
IRQ of its own (by setting jumpers or thelike) stop Run 'setserial'
to tell Linux about the new configuration stop See 'man setserial'
for the syntax stop See Serial-HOWTO for details stop
