Mine would hang at LI. I downloaded the latest bootdisk image from
ftp.cdrom.com (I think), and the problem went away. I don't know
which version of Slackware I have (without looking) but it is from
the March 1995 Infomagic distribution.

i buy an used ppc 7500, after 10 minute,i use
the bootvars1.3.
first i mean it the best way to force my power mac boot on cd.
i change the value /APPL,ROM
so now i don't have anything, ANYthings no boot logo, no grey graphic map.
i try to leave the batterie, in hope the memory will be clean after.
doesn't works too!
i remember it possible to have the firm ware with an lot of key.
for exemple "apple shift x o p" if anybody know how to do.
