As topic, the video card is ATI Range Pro, 8MB memory, 14.1" screen.

Where can I get more info? My kernel is 2.0.32, using RH 5.0. Also what
about the setup for the PCMCIA 3COM network card?

Thanks a lot!!!! Please also email me.

1. Linux on Dell Inspiron 7000 Laptop

Hi,

is there anybody who tried to install linux and x on a dell inspiron
7000 laptop?

if yes, did it work and are there any trade-offs like using the graphics

adapter in non-accerated mode?

or is a dell latitude cpi maybe better suited for running linux?

thanks.

regards,

          jan
