I've got one of these but haven't looked much at getting it going.
When I did have a quick look, I searched dejanews and got started on a
trail of links that resulted in some sound coming out (it only looped
the first second of any sound though), but I stopped looking at it
after that as other things took precedence.

Just go to dejanews, use the powersearch form to look for malibu,
restricting the forum to *linux* and set the results to be threaded,
then pull up a coffee and start wading..

1. Turtle Beach Malibu

I'm having problems with a 2.4.16 kernel isa pnp configuration of a
turtle beach malibu (CS423X based isa card). The machine is an Athlon
1200 on an Epox 8KTA3+ motherboard. The bios correctly sets up the
card on irq 5 and dma 0 and 1 but linux seems to insist on irq7 and dma
0 and 3, causing all kinds of problems. isapnp.conf seems to be correct,
calling out the correct irq and dma, but manually running isapnp errors
out complaining about a resource conflict.

setpnp and lspnp do not exist and sndconf errors and crashes. I also get
errors in /var/log/messages about missing modules like

Can't locate module sound-slot-1
Can't locate module sound-service-1-0

and

Can't locate module char-major-81

on boot and shutdown.

I've gotten this to work in the past by playing with bios settings, but
they don't seem to affect it now. I just updated to the latest from
Redhat with up2date, and I suspect that might have broken it.
Lots of stuff was installed from a new kernel (which I am not using)
to new modutils and new xfree, plus others.

Anyone have any ideas?
