There is a bug in the NT (3.51 build 1057) disk administrator, that caused it
to behave eratically.
More info on that in the micro$oft knowledgebase.
They made a patch for it (at this moment its called sp 3 you can ignore the
other two ).
You can ftp it (its an 8 meg .exe file though) from micro$ofts.
hope it cures it.
