I've installed a rpm package called  tn3270-510-1.i386.rpm. It orks
well.
I can connect to the mainframe. But I have a key mapping problem.
I've tried vt100, but it still does not work.
File  /etc/map3270  defines a bunch of key mapfiles. It turned out that
none
of these seem to work (espacially with backspace, function keys
F1->F12).

The standart xterm is usually known as a VT100. The TERM env. variable
says simply xterm.
Changing it to vt100 does change anything.

An idea? A past experience with such connection ?

I use x3270.? It came with Red Hat 5.1.? If it didn't install then you can
get the rpm off the cd.? I'm not at my linux box right now so I can't tell
you exactly where on the cd but it's on there.? It works well, it's quick
and I haven't had any problem.

1. IBM 3270 Emulation; where?

To all,

        I'm looking for an already compiled version of x3270 for Solaris 2.3.  Or
any information on a 3270 emulator that uses TCP/IP port 23 and the X11 R6 Front
End.

BTW: SPRY 3270 Connect "DOES" work under WABI 2.0 on Solaris 2.3, BUT only
        once, you have to restart WABI after you terminate your 3270 session, to
        get SPRY 3270 to run again.
