This question was first answered about 1 year ago and it is answered in the
release notes for the libc as well:
You need to upgrade procps when upgrading to libc.XYZ (sorry, forgot the
numbers of X Y and Z; it's too long ago)

1. HELP: GS FLOATING POINT EXCEPTION ERROR
I'm trying to change some .ps files to Epson Stylus device format, but
some times I get an error that says: Floating point exception.
I heard that this because my processor is not Intel. Is
that correct?. If so, is there anything I can do? And if not What can I do
to fix it?? Thanks....
I'll appreciate any response, since there is important documents I need to get
printed out.
