I have a question about using ncpfs for attaching to Novell volumes.
I've installed the appropriate stuff
ncpmount is suid root
-rwsr-sr-x 1 root root 14441 Sep 25 17:30 /usr/local/bin/ncpmount
and all my files are there
K:~>ls -l .nwclient
-rw------- 1 andy users 13 May 29 1996 .nwclient
and it allows me to log on to the lan when i'm root
K:/home/andy>/usr/local/bin/ncpmount -S Meakins -U andy /novell
Logging into MEAKINS as ANDY
But I can't when I'm not:
K:~>/usr/local/bin/ncpmount -S Meakins -U andy /novell
Logging into MEAKINS as andy
cannot to mount on /novell: Operation not permitted
So my question is: What do I do to get ncpmount to allow me
to mount from my user account?
BTW: Aside from that, ncpfs is great. It does all I need.
