Getting error message [unable to open message file:PROMSGS" or "PROGRESS
error returned with no associated message: RC=-1, SQLCODE=-1,
SQLSTATE="".] when trying to make connection from Win2000 client PC to
the Progress V9 database located on HP-UX.  Environment varaibales were
set on the PC, connection works on Win98 but failed on Win2000.
Currently using Merant 3.60 32-bit PROGRESS. Pls advise.

1. Merant ODBC error

Dear all
I am trying to Extract data from Progress 9.1B on Digital Unix using
an Extraction tool installed on Win NT.
While connecting to progress 9.1B on Digital unix 4.0
using MERANT ODBC driver 3.6 32 Bit SQL92 from WINDOWS NT client.
i get an error
[MERANT][PROGRESS ODBC DRIVER][PROGRESS]MM-BAD SWAP FILE

Is this error related to the swap space on Unix?
Any clue would be helpful
Thanks
Asim
