I need help desparately.  I am trying to run an FPW 2.6 on a Dell 400 and
get a GPF in Windows 95 right at start up.

I tried Slowstart - no help
I patched the .ESL with the fix on the web for fast machines - no help
Got the latest Video Driver from ATI - no help

Any other ideas.

Try starting Windows in Safe Mode.
Run your FPW2.6 application.
Does it work?
If yes, video driver still looks a likely candidate.

Try progressively reducing graphics hardware acceleration.

I'm running FPW26 (both the apps and the development environment) on a 450
PIII running Win NT 4.0 and I'm not experiencing any problems...anymore.

When I first upgraded to this machine I couldn't run the apps or anything,
even with something called "DZPATCH" applied.

Then I installed the (somewhat) recently released patch provided by MS,
everything works fine now.

If the MS patch is the patch you are referring to then I don't have any
additional advice for you, otherwise checkout:

Good luck.

Try turning down the hardware Acceleration level for your ATI video
card.
