access + UNIX

HI there
Im aware that Access databases export nicely to NT platforms using a SQL
server.
However, can someone kindly inform me whether the same is true for UNIX
platforms
running Apache (with RedHat or UNIX OS). Can I easily export an Access
database
to this environment to run on the web ? What kind of software do I need ?

TIA

I originally had an Access database set up and then exported it to MySQL
running on Linux RedHat 5.2.  Using MyODBC, I had very little trouble
making the transition.  If you do a search on messages I have posted,
you should get quite a few messages where I have explained to others how
I did it.  If you come up empty, email me and I'll send you details.

1. ODBC access, Unix to Unix.

Hi all,

I have seen a lot of posts that talk about using ODBC to have a PC
talk to a database running on a Unix box, but I have yet to see a unix
to unix reference.  Does there exist an ODBC client for Unix?  Any
pointers will be helpful.  I need to be able to talke to Oracle
7.0.15, Sybase 4.9.x, Informix OnLine 5.01 and Ingres 6.4 databases.

Thanks,

Mark Tait.
