I am a complete newbie to the field of database and I am
interested in databases that are prepared for Image Retrieval.
Would be cool if one could expand the functionalty by writing
own routines! (For instance, if product A offers image retrieval
via texture characteristics, I would to like to add other
ways of retrieving images, for instance color or so)
Any help/ information is appreciated.
