Have you tried using a dump program to check through the database
program EXE files?

butil -clone newdatabase olddatabase
butil -copy olddatabase newdatabse
I execute the following statement in SQL server 7.0
CREATE TABLE [usernew].[TEST] (
[TEST_ID] [int] NOT NULL ,
[NAME] [varchar] (15) NULL ,
) ON [PRIMARY]
When I connect to the database as usernew and I try to execute
SELECT * FROM TEST
it fails with the message
Invalid object name 'TEST'.
SELECT * FROM usernew.TEST works fine.
Usernew is not the database owner
