I am a new comer in this arena. I am trying to do a comparative study
betweem relational data model and multidimensional data model in data
warehouse. The frustration is that I can not find a very objective
reference on this subject, despite the days spent searching the
literature. Can anyone please make a recommendation? Thanks in
advance.

I like Ralph Kimball's books on the subjects of DW and MDDB.
I'm not sure what you mean by "very objective", but his work will give you
a clear and lucid
explanation from a proponent.
