by Anyone with experience with commercially available, reliable, fast
(intepret "fast" as you wish) relational databases accessible via SQL,
please send me recommendations. Client/server doesn't matter -- my
main concern is with queries, which will be to a database on the same
machine. Distributed replication, synchronous or asynch, of the
database across a LAN would be good to have. Any info would be greatly
appreciated!
One other minor item -- any DB packages which support object views (not
just globs or whatever) through a SQL-style interface?
