I am doing my Ph.d at Database Systems R&D Center, Univ Of Florida
working on Constraint & Transaction Specification. I would like to know the
following information about available/ would be available DBMS's.
Please e-mail the information to me.
1). Constraint Specification & Enforcement:
I would like to know the facilities provided to the users to specify
constraints. What types of constraints can be specified?. Which types of
constraints are enforced by the DBMS?. Which types of constraints have be
enforced externally through application programs,etc?.
2). Transaction Specification:
I would like to know the facilities provided to the users to specify
transactions. How are these specifications validated and stored?.
I will appreciate if any of you can send the information or let me know
about literature available giving the above information.
