I'm looking for a light database.

it should run from a cd-rom (minimum installation is OK) so the database is
read only.

and should serve a jsp base application (based on something linke Tomcat or
Jetty)

suggestions ????

db4o could suit your needs:

To install it, you simply need to add the 85 kB Jar to the CLASSPATH.
