APPLICATION SUPPORT SPECIALIST/HELP DESK ANALYST
Provide customer friendly support and training to all computer users
throughout the company. Ground floor opportunity with growing company. =
Seeking person who is willing to contribute to our organization by
supporting change. Excellent position for a professional with end-user
training experience, computer support skills and/or a college degree
with 2-3 years related experience overall. Job location is a suburb of
Chicago, Illinois. A willingness to travel is critical. No relocation
package is provided

Duties and Responsibilities: =
=B7 Provide effective phone and face-to-face application support,
including trouble shooting, diagnostics and problem solving.
=B7 Provide training by developing and presenting material (formal or
=B7 Develop technical bulletins/newsletters.
=B7 PC Technical Support - Diagnostics, Software Installation.
=B7 Travel to other locations for Support/Training.
=B7 Working knowledge of Windows, Windows NT and MS Office
=B7 Positive attitude/personality; Strong customer service orientation.
=B7 Excellent communication, written and problem solving skills
=B7 Computer skills: Excel, Word, Order Entry, Access, SQL
=B7 LAN/WAN familiarity
Attributes considered a Plus:
=B7 Professional training experience (Develop/Deliver)
=B7 Experience with Manufacturing Systems (Symix Software)
=B7 BS Computer Science or Equivalent Experience
=B7 Novell, Windows NT or UNIX Exposure
=B7 Exposure to Progress 4GL Software =
=B7 Programming Skills/Internet
