Very Computer

I have a task system that allows multiple computers to log in and run jobs.  
The whole thing is controlled by a Task Manager program made up of forms with
pages and grids on the pages to display data.

I want the grids to be data aware, meaning that as records are added, deleted,
or changed, then the grid should refresh and show those changes.

Can anyone point me to a FAQ or page number in a manual?  Please e-mail.

I will respond to myself.  After much work and lots of gear oil, I decided to
place a timer on each page that had a grid.  The timer event refreshes the
grid every 2 to 5 seconds and that accomplishes my goal of automatic update
and display.
