Reports always print on legal size paper, VFP 5

I have a strange user problem.  On their system all reports print on legal
paper the lower tray even if the use page set up to change the settings.  I
did not write this program and I am not sure why or where to look for the
cause.  There is one report that is suppose to print on legal size papaper,
other are suppose to be printed on letter size paper.  Clues on where to look
would be appriciated,

Open up the FRX file. Clear the fields TAG, TAG2. Examine the field EXPR.
You should see additional printer and paper size/source info here, and you
can edit as desired. You should be able to specify which paper tray and
paper size gets used.

Or, edit the report in the report editor. Go into FILE - PRINT SETUP and
make sure letter size paper is selected. Save report.

Is the lower tray the default paper tray? If so, the reports may be trying
to print on the default letter size paper, but someone put legal paper in
the tray. You may need to manually select the upper tray, assuming that the
upper tray is the one with legal paper in it. I have an app that prints both
letter and legal size reports to the same printer, and I just have a
different paper source selected for each report.

When you create/edit a report and select a printer and/or paper size/tray,
this gets saved with the report and the report will try to print to that
printer/tray.

Dont edit them, just make tag/tag1 empty, than no setup problems for
printer.

I did that and found that report setting for tray is set to upper, but
according to user that physical upper tray is letter and lower is legal.
I wonder if logical definition are that lower tray is treated as the upper
tray.  I am going to set the reports to use autoselect and set letter reports
to lower (two versions) to see what happens.

Just fields in an table which contains the report-definition. (frx-files)
for example try this and you will see tag and tag2
use myreport.frx
browse

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that it depends exactly on the sequence the
paper sizes appear in your printer driver.

In one printer the sequence is A4,A5,A6,...Legal,Letter...   (Kyocera, HP
5L)
and the other one can be Letter, Letter small,... A4, A5...         (HP
LJ4P - i think)

You can look in your report that PAPERSIZE property is set to a numeric
expression (usually 1 in my reports)
Last time i had to set this manually to 4 to get the report out of the HP 4P
printer.(Printer displayed "Load Letter ..." or something like this)

Regards,
Marek

1. Printing reports always goes to 3x5 paper size

Within the past few days every time I run a report it
automatically goes to the custom paper size and sets itself to
3x5.  The setup is for 8 1/2 x 11 at the outset but I cannot
seem to override this setting when running reports.

The only option I can think of is to reload the software.  Any
ideas?

Other printing with other software seems to be ok.

Printing on HP laserjet 4+.

The same database and reports work fine on another computer.
