Cluster environment issue with OS 5.1a and Progress 8.3C

I've some information related to an issue with the configuration
mentioned above. When running this version in cluster mode,
we're getting a "SIGTERM" (error 3694) kicking the system into single
user mode.

Do you have faced the issue and do you have a workaround ?

We use for Progress :SCO-Unix 5 Open Server and for Access :  Windows 98
