1. removing/changing current ADO version
Both ADO2.0 and 2.1 are installed on my machine, but I want my ADO
application to default to ADO2.0. It doesn't seem possible to cleanly
remove ADO2.1, and even after reinstalling ADO2.0 the Registry setting
"CurVer" for the various ADO objects remains stuck at 2.1. How can I
revert back to ADO2.0 without manually fudging around in the registry?
On a related note, I noticed that the GUIDs of all ADO2.0 and 2.1
classes in the registry are identical. Does this mean that I can merely
swap out the various ADO DLLs to change versions, and don't need to
recompile and link my ADO application?
