ObjectDRIVER (release 1.1.124) is now available!
Libraries for Borland C++ Builder 5, Borland C++ Builder 4 and Microsoft
Visual C++ 6.0.
Java Binding in all distributions.
ObjectDRIVER is our new powerful ODMG-Compliant Open Object Wrapper
dedicated to relational databases reusing. With ObjectDRIVER, a relational
database can be full-accessible (selection, insertion, deletion, update) as
an object database after that the object schema and its mapping on top of
the relational database have been defined. The object data can be queried
with OQL, the ODMG query language.
ObjectDRIVER allows each application, each user to get a personnalized
access to relational databases. The clients can "see" the databases as they
want, without being constrained by organization choices that were made when
the databases were created.
Adds and changes in this release (1.1.124):
In the console application:
- All ObjectDRIVER options can now be modified in the console application.
- The user objects can be referred by their memory address. It is now
possible to work on an object (to inspect it, to update it for example)
specifying its memory address, without changing the value of the current
bag.
- Bug fixed:
* Multi-attribute foreign keys in the Java Binding.
