I have write a socket place at port 5000 on my backend UNIX.  Can I
use VFP to send a string to that socket. Yet I do'nt see any function
can do that.

You could probably do it with a reference to MSCOMM32.OCX.

1. TCP/IP Sockets, UNIX Sockets

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

How do you force pgsql to use either TCP/IP Sockets or UNIX Sockets?
And how do you know which one it uses?

It is for a performance analysis.

Thanks!
