1. Dr. Codd's OLAP rules and article

I have been working on publishing an electronic version of Codd's
white paper, but there are a few legal (copyright) and technical (www
server working and secured at Arbor) issues.

For now Arbor software is trying to make it as easy as possible
for you to get paper copies of Codd's OLAP white paper as well
as an analysis of  OLAP by Rich Finkelstein. Both are free.  To get them
call 1-800-858-1666 extension 1, 408-727-5800 extension 1,  or
in the U.K. +44-734-566749.  Please speak clearly and slowly if
you are put into the voice mail box.

You can also send me an email request for the papers which I will
forward to our fulfillment people, but you must include your name,
title, company, mailing address, and telephone number or they
won't process your request. They will mail the papers to you within
a couple working days of receiving your request.

Some of the other OLAP vendors also offer the Codd paper, and
numerous other documents about OLAP. Contact them
directly for more information.
