OI 1.1/04! I tried dropping all permits on the recalcitrant (sic) tables
and the granting select to public and inser,t, update and delete to group
and it worked! Apparently there is an undocumented limit on just how
many permits will "take".
FWIW, I tried every comination of REVOKE I could think of and it either
lied and said the permits were gone (they weren't) or gave me an error
stating that user ingres ($ingres, root and every other user I could
think of) didn't own the permit. DROP PERMIT ON <tablename> ALL worked
just fine, thank you.
