Hi,
I have cognos 6.0 reports with Win 2000 which works fine.

If same reports if i run in Admin cognos 7.0 MR1 with win XP, few
reports run well but some    gives below error and Impromptu closes.

 Administrator Version has encountered a problem and needs to close.
 We are sorry for the inconvenience.
 Please tell Microsoft about this problem.

 Do u have any idea regarding this.

There used to be a report upgrade utility (not sure if it is still around)
but it actually did the conversion for you and then performed a binary
comparison on the files.  May be worth checking to see if you can get your
hands on this.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for reply.
Can u please tell what is this dmapifil trace means.

I have 25 reports, all of them work with same catalog.
5 reports are giving problem with same catalog.
I still have copy of reports which I want to convert in Win 2000 with
impromptu 6.0 system.
If I open the report without prompt its opens fine.
The report which I am running in XP system gives error but works fine
in Win 2000.

My Database is Oracle 8.1.5.0.0
Catalog is Shared.
Admin Version is 7.0.702.0
