This is the Official Charter of the International Usenet Newsgroup
COMP.DATABASES.FILEMAKER as published on June 09, 1998 (date of the
Newsgroup creation approval). CHARTER: comp.databases.filemaker The
FileMaker newsgroup is or should be reserved for non-commercial and
technical purposes. Users, developers and consultants may post their
comments, their sharings and their questions about FileMaker (any version,
any language, both platforms (Macintosh & PC). No requests or messages are
allowed for: - payments (no "get rich quickly") - adverti*t not
specifically dedicated to the FileMaker community (web sites or products
that are not directly related to FileMaker) - sales of hardware. The subject
field of announcements for FileMaker dedicated sites or products should
start with [ANN] to distinguish them from technical messages. For
announcements in a language other than English, the subject field should
start with the language code (example: [FR] Recherche de doublons). The
general aspiration of this newsgroup is to spread the technical knowledge of
users and developers of the FileMaker community and therefore improve the
quality of their development, help users with mid- and high-level technical
