Very Computer

PWin 5.0, Novell network, HP4SI printers.  I have a report which needs
to go to an odd paper size (8.5 x 12).  The printing must be in a
specific place, as the paper is a questionnaire which is returned and
scanned.

Most of the questionnaires are letter size (8.5 x 12) and everything
works just fine.  One form has too many questions to fit on letter
size, thus the odd size.

I created a new report based on the one that works, adjusted the
postiions of everything, and set the paper size of the report to
legal.  Unfortunately, after printing, the report gets reset to letter
size, and as the printing is done at approx 11.5 inches, gets cut off.
The user has letter and legal size trays only.  PrinterSetOptions
seems to be the only place one can set the paper size to legal, but
that function doesn't work in 5.0.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Paradox and Delphi

Yeah, I wrote this....about 8 months ago!  How the heck did it get
posted again?  Sheesh.

Yust another idea:
If you say that printing stops at 11.5 inches I remember the following
problem:
With Paradox I was unable to print to the first column of a matrix-printer.
I.e. If I selected 10 cpi for a reportfield at the leftmost position with
80 characters it started printing at column nr 2!, printing only 79
characters and, if allowd to do a line break, the last character was
printed in column 1! at the next line :-(   very strange!
