I have a problem where a windows 2000 workstation cannot open a paradox 9
table from a Novell server running NetWare 6. we were running fine under
NetWare 5. Now, with NW6, the windows 98 workstations can open the paradox
app fine, but the windows 2000 workstations keep coming up with an error
that the directory is controlled by another net file.

I have tried:
wiping out the old .lck and .net files in case they were corrupted
moving the .net file location
recreating the .cfg file from scratch

but no joy

Any suggestions?

MM,

One of the NetWare Client32 releases (4.83, I think) had a bug
and needs to be patched. Details are on Novell's web site.
