Alternating headers/footers in an interactive report?

Alternating headers/footers in an interactive report?

Is there a way, using an interactive report, to cause the page headers and footers
to be different depending on whether the page is even or odd? That is, I'd like
to achieve the following:

               |-------------|            |-------------|
               | title      1|            |2       title|
               |             |            |             |
               |             |            |             |
               |             |            |             |
               |             |            |             |
               |             |            |             |
               |             |            |             |
               | date        |            |         date|
               |-------------|            |-------------|

This feature would be nice to have in the report generator but there is no
way to have the pagenumber in a calculated filed.  What your going to have to
do is calculate the page numbers in adavance (ie in the table) and then
base a calculated field off the page number field.  The calculated fields
would be TitleLeft and TitleRight.  Each would print the Title or the page
number depending if the value of page number is even or odd.  You would
do this using an 'iif' in a calculated field.

Good Luck.

1. Removing headers/footers in Crystal Reports 6 Pro via VB5

I am trying to remove eg supress, a footer in CR6 PRO that also has a
subreport in it. Is there any way of doing this by calling some DLL
functions or procedures. This will save me heaps of time if I can use the
one report instead of one report for each different 'condition'  of data to
be reported on, eg if a certain condition is met then I want the footer to
be shown.

Any help of sample code would be greatly appreaciated, Stu
