Have any Paradox 5 for Windows users experienced problems indexing and
working with large databases -- 500,000 to 1,000,000 records or more with
150 postion records.

I keep getting bTree errors reported in the verify database selection in
the Tools menu and the files perform erradicly (sp?)

Thanks, Jim O'Connell

1. Using large index for query

I have created an index with oracle 8 on a large field with no
problem.  The problem arises when I try to perform a query using the
index.  I get an error stating that "column is not indexed".  I do not
have this problem when I query an index on a smaller field.  All of
the indexes large or small build with no errors.  Any help would be
appreciated.  Thanks, Kevin
