I have seen references to a Pdox dos to Paradox for Windows converter.

1) How well does the converter work?
2) Where do you get a copy of the converter?

Thanks for your help,

Steve

It's called the "Object Converters" and was a conversion tool that
Borland worked on for two versions of Paradox.

It does what it was designed to do well.  However, what is was
designed to do is not what you want it to do.  Basically, you
get an "ASCII-esque" version of your Paradox/DOS forms and reports
and commented versions of your PAL scripts.  The conversion is
not complete because the differences between the DOS and Windows
   languages models are vast.

It was a good idea that was under funded and ended up being less
   than sucessful.

You're better off doing a rewrite, primarily because the Windows
product doesn't require quite so many hacks as the DOS product
did.  There are still _some_ hacks needed, just not the same ones.

   Borland's or Corel's FTP sites.

Hope this helps...
