Original Problem:

I am trying to connect Access2000 to my Informix Database. The DSN is
created successfully, the link to the tables is made successfully, I can
view the design of the tables, I just can't view the data - getting the
error: 'Microsoft Access can't open the table in Datasheet view.'. I am
using the informix driver: Informix-CLI 2.5 (32-Bit). Any ideas? Thanks.

This seemed to work for about 24 hours. But I am not sure if I downloaded
the correct file. I downloaded mdac_typ.exe from microsoft. It seemed to be
the most current version all rolled into one and on top of the list. Right
now, if I run mdac_typ.exe everytime I open Access 2000 it works for about
an hour. We are running Informix 7.1 STI. I am also on NT4.0 Wks/Srv Pack 6.

You have a lot of version problems:

Informix 7.1 is obsolete.
CLI 2.5 is obsolete.

Install Informix7.3 or 9.2.
Install Client SDK 2.4x or Informix Connect
