I recently posted a message asking for help on the above topic. The
answer I'm looking for, if there is one, will be how to achieve the
desired result without doing the insert in a stored procedure and
getting the value using the dbinfo() array. If anyone knows whether
the informix database drivers return the value perhaps to a property
of an ADO recordset or some other object, I would be most interested
to hear.
