I know the limit of extents in Informix is between 50 to 200(depends on
different table definition). Do you know how to estimate the limit? I
have a table which has 72 extents right now. There are 6 indexes, no
blob, several vchar columns in the table. The table is fragmented in 5
dbspaces.

Before you buy.
1. How to calculate the limit for extents of a table in Informix
The limit on the number of extents applies to each partition.
Since each of your table fragments has a separate partition number,
your limit for that table will be much higher that 200.
If your indexes are detached from the table, your table has even more
partition numbers. For more information on this topic, look at:
