take a look at the Informix-SE 4.10 RDBMS engine...
I am currently working on an Informix adaptor for the DBKit.
This adaptor has reached a fairly stable beta status and this beta
version can be obtained directly from me...
(BTW, the Informix adaptor supports BLOB datatypes like BYTE and TEXT
if you use it against an Informix-OnLine engine on a different Unix
server!)
